Teenvise was born from a simple frustration: every parental control app we tried felt like a surveillance tool. We knew there had to be a better way — one built on trust, not fear.
Why We Built Teenvise
In 2023, our co-founders Sarah and Marcus were both navigating the same challenge: how to keep their teenagers safe in an increasingly complex digital world without destroying the trust they'd spent years building.
Every existing solution felt like choosing between two bad options: invasive surveillance that teenagers would resent and circumvent, or complete digital blindness.
They realized the missing ingredient was transparency. What if teens could see exactly what their parents were monitoring? What if the app started a conversation rather than ending one?
Teenvise was built on that insight. Six months later, it was protecting 1,000 families. Today, it's over 50,000 and growing.
