Teenvise, Inc. (“Teenvise”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of parents and teens who use our platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use Teenvise.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

Account information: name, email address, password hash
Child profile data: name, age (not date of birth)
Location data: GPS coordinates collected from the teen's device at configurable intervals
Device data: battery level, network status, installed app names
Usage data: app-by-app screen time aggregates

3. How We Use Your Data

Data is used exclusively to deliver the Teenvise service. We never sell or share data with advertisers. Specific uses include: powering the parent dashboard, sending safety alerts, generating activity reports, and improving the platform.

4. Data Retention

Location and activity data is retained per your plan: 7 days (Free), 90 days (Pro), 1 year (Family). Account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure.

5. Your Rights

Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact privacy@teenvise.com to exercise these rights.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Teenvise is designed for use by parents on behalf of teens (13–19). We do not knowingly collect data directly from children under 13. A parent or guardian must create and manage all accounts.
